teaching and presenting arts-integrated programming to young audiences in schools and libraries throughout Tennessee as well on the West Coast for over 25 years.

Her independently released recording, The Gift of Make-Believe, is a multi-awarding collection of tpac_education_colorsongs “for the young and young at heart.” Parents and educators alike have praised this cd for its imaginative presentation of traditional children’s lyrical poetry and family folk favorites. Winner of a Parent’s Choice Award, The Gift of Make-Believe is available for sale through CDBaby and digitally through ITUNES.

Wolf Trap jump 2007 purpleSince 2007, Ginger has been a teaching artist for the TPAC – Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s nationally acclaimed Wolf Trap “Early Learning through the Arts” program, which provides arts-infused learning experiences for preschool children in HEADSTART. ¬† In these settings, she provides age-appropriate, interactive lessons which incorporate music, movement, theatre, poetry and puppets to support curriculum.

Ginger is currently working on classroom programs promoting nutrition, health and garden education.  Incorporating songs and material from her newest release, Back to the Garden, these age-appropriate, interactive programs explore themes of gardening and growing food.
